Ashtanga yoga is the name of a system of yoga that was developed over 3000 years ago in India. Ashtanga is a set series of postures that are strung together using the breath. It emphasizes the natural relationship between breath and movement. It is an intense and invigorating form of yoga that will increase strength, flexibility and balance. Ashtanga works the physical and energetic body and will help to cleanse and realign the body and bodily functions.  
 
       
    Thai yoga bodywork is a perfect complement to an Ashtanga yoga practice.While invigorating and soothing the physical body, the energetic body is also worked according to an ancient healing art brought to Thailand from India, and now making its way to the West. Patients receive the bodywork fully clothed and the effects are similar to that of the yoga asana practice.
